about

'Hope Decomposing' is a piece based on a track I composed around 2018 for Endless Movement - 'Somewhere' album. It's mainly based on a loop that had this 'hopeful' feeling. The album was released on tape by Three Moons Records in 2020. I remember it was hard to choose which version of 'Hope' we would use on 'Somewhere' - the one with added cymbals or the one without. In the end we used the first one. I liked the other version so much though so I decided to work on it a bit more last year. While listening to that version again and again an idea came to my mind to gradually deteriorate the composition in vibe of William Basinski's records.

Finally 'Hope Decomposing' is here - a long piece that is a study on hope slowly fading away - defeated by our endless adversary called Time.

Play as one continuous session.
